CHRIST IS RISEN! MSHIKHA KEMLE! ქრისტე აღსდგა!
Father Seraphim Bit-Kharibi and his choir perform the ancient Paschal troparion "Christ Is Risen" in Aramaic — the language spoken by Jesus Christ himself. This sacred chant, one of the most beloved hymns of the Orthodox tradition, proclaims the triumph of life over death:
"Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and upon those in the tombs bestowing life."
Rendered in the polyphonic style that has become Father Seraphim's hallmark, this recording bridges centuries of spiritual heritage, carrying the living sound of Christ's own tongue into the modern world.
